Public Pins · images & videos

Pinterest Image & Video Downloader

Paste a public Pin link. PinMosaic shows every image size the Pin offers and real MP4 video files — then you pick what to save.

Both full pin links and pin.it short links work. Boards, profiles and private Pins are not supported.

How saving works

Saving an image

  1. Open the Pin on Pinterest and copy its address from the browser bar (or use its pin.it link).
  2. Paste the link above and press “Fetch this Pin”. Every image size the Pin offers appears as its own card.
  3. Pick a card — the one marked “Largest available” is usually the original upload — and press Download.
  4. The image keeps its real format (JPG, PNG or WEBP). On a phone it lands in your Downloads folder or gallery.

Saving a video

  1. Copy the address of a video Pin — the ones that play when you open them.
  2. Paste it above. PinMosaic lists every MP4 variant that actually exists on the CDN, with the file length.
  3. Press Download to save the MP4 with sound, exactly as it was uploaded.
  4. If a Pin shows “video no longer available”, the file was removed by Pinterest — nothing can be saved, only the cover.

Frequently asked questions

Which links work?

Links to a single public Pin: www.pinterest.com/pin/…, any country domain (pinterest.es, pinterest.com.br, …), and pin.it short links. Board pages, profile pages and search results do not work — open a specific Pin first.

Which image size should I download?

Cards are ordered small to large. “Largest available” is normally the original file as it was uploaded. If a Pin was only ever saved as a small image, that small size is genuinely the best that exists — the card labels show the real measured pixels.

Why do some video Pins say the video is unavailable?

On Pinterest itself these Pins are marked as videos but no longer play — the file was removed or moved. PinMosaic detects this directly and tells you instead of offering a broken download. The cover image can still be saved.

Do downloads include sound?

Yes. Video files are served exactly as Pinterest stores them. If the original has an audio track, the MP4 you download has it too — nothing is muted or re-encoded.

Do you store my links or files?

No. A Pin is read live when you paste the link, and the result is kept in memory for about 30 minutes so you can click the download buttons. Nothing is written to disk, and links are never shared or published.
