Pinterest's most-repinned Pin today: “Power Salad”

Updated 2026-10-13 · every figure below is a real sample taken on this date

Pinterest is not measured in likes but in repins — the moment someone decides a Pin belongs on their own board. Today one food Pin ran away with it.

What today's sample collected

The run sampled on 2026-10-13 at 01:30 UTC across ten public boards (The Pioneer Woman, HGTV, National Geographic, PetaPixel, Design Milk, BuzzFeed Tasty, Handimania, Hunker and others). It read 493 Pins, filtered one out under the blocklist, and ranked the survivors by repin count, allowing at most one entry per author so a single account cannot sweep the top.

The Pin at number one

“Power Salad — roasted cauliflower, beets, red quinoa. Oh my.” by Ree Drummond / The Pioneer Woman, with 4,052 repins. It is a food Pin — a category that dominates Pinterest's most-saved content month after month, and for a structural reason.

Why food Pins win the repin race

A repin is a promise to yourself. You are not endorsing the image; you are putting it where you will find it when you need it. Food Pins fit that intent perfectly: the dish is legible at thumbnail size, the ingredients are named in the copy, and the action required afterwards is obvious. The caption here does the work of a headline — it names the dish, lists three specific components, and ends on a reaction. The beet purple against the quinoa does the rest at scroll speed.

The gap between first and second is the story. Food Pins are saved to be used; wildlife and destination Pins are saved to be enjoyed. Both are legitimate, but only one produces the repeated, purposeful save that a repin represents.

How to save a Pin at full size

1Copy the Pin linkOpen the Pin and use Share → Copy link, or copy the address bar URL.
2Paste it into PinMosaicNo account needed for a public Pin.
3Choose the largest imageThe tool returns the original-size file rather than the 236px thumbnail.
4Save itReady to reuse as a reference or a mood-board entry.
Saving the thumbnail is the classic Pinterest mistake. A 236-pixel grid image looks fine on a phone and useless on a desktop. Always take the largest version on offer.

What this page is not

  • Repin counts are point-in-time samples from 2026-10-13, not live figures.
  • The list comes from ten public boards, not Pinterest-wide trending.
  • Board pool and method are recorded with every run so the sample can be judged on its own terms.
